Vale View Fergus 2
Taking up the mantle as lead sire from 2024. A Vale View M Gator son. Importantly a proven cow line with his mother being a Rondel PK daughter. Very quiet, easy moving and plenty of beef. 39cm Scrotal and his 140cm2 EMA. His impressive carcasse traits and strong maternal line will add great value to our herd.
Grey Gum Dozer
A retained High Country Genesis son. Used over stud heifers and showing a lot of promise. His Dam, Hazelwood Aura 226 (Yaralla Rochester) has produced all top shelf calves. Bone, sirey head and an efficient weight gainer. Big barrel of beef with a nice muscle pattern. We were always keeping him, outshone all his peers by a margin.
High Country genesis
He came to us in August of 2018. A PP Bull, he is well muscled, plenty of loose skin, the epitome of good temperament, a beautiful dark red coat and impressive growth EBV's. Top 15% at 200 days and Top 5% through 400 and 600 days. An impressive sire and fitting name for his job in the Grey Gum herd. High Country GENESIS (GLEN FOSSLYN IDOL). Genesis provided us with man retained daughters and now resides at Two Ones Droughtmasters as of Spring 2023.
High Country Hadley
The second sire in the Grey Gum operation. Also PP. A similar type with unrelated genetics. Loads of skin with the great temperament, plenty of length and extension. He carries a strong sires head with ideally hooded eye. Knocking on the door of top 10% in 400 and 600 day weight EBV's. High Country HADLEY (GLENLANDS QUARRY). Hadley was euthanised for humane reasons after sustaining an injury in the summer of 2023.
